We are holding a “crafternoon” in aid of mental health charity Mind, with a raffle draw on the day, “make & take” for both children and adults, refreshments and more.

Crafternoon is a fundraising event in aid of Mind, and the charity is calling on everyone to get crafting so anyone experiencing a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

Karen Bolton, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at Mind, said “We’re really hoping people will support us by getting involved with Crafternoon. It’s the perfect excuse to spend time with family and friends and, even better, it’s a great way to boost mental wellbeing.

“It can be very rewarding and relaxing to create something from scratch. Every penny raised will make a huge difference – just £21 could keep Mind’s online support community, Elefriends, running for one hour.”
